The client's software development teams are building next-generation technologies that are changing the world of logistics. As a Senior Software Developer, you will work on a specific project critical to the client's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and their fast-paced business grow and evolve. They're looking for developers who can bring fresh ideas from all areas, lead technical discussions and project implementation, and provide insight with regard to project planning, estimation, and prioritization. They need their software developers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic in taking on new problems across their stack as we continue to push technology forwards.
In this opportunity they are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer RoR
Role:
- Create specifications with product owners and designers in building features that are performant, reliable, and maintainable
- Work on various layers of our stack; ranging from building infrastructure in GCP via Kubernetes and Docker, to creating APIs in support of end-to-end customer functionalities
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of Rails and Ruby fundamentals; interactor, adapter design patterns, ORM optimization, caching, etc.
- Rich experience in technical communication via workflow diagramming, documentation, and architectural discussions
- Collaborate with other developers to design, implement, and test technical projects, while improving on team process
- Apply best practices and standards set out by department leaders while providing feedback to peers along the way
- Work alongside, and learn from a talented team of engineers from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences
Required skills:
- Upper - Intermediate English
- Exp. with Docker 4-6 years
- Exp. with Ruby 4-6 Years
- Exp. with SQL 4-6 Years
- Exp. with Rails 4-6 Years
Nice to have:
- JavaScript 1 year or less
- Node.js 1 year or less
- React.js 1 year or less
