Our client is a software company that provides services to many industries, including financial services, insurance, banking, software development, and others. They are headquartered in Atlanta, USA and having branch offices at Canada, Argentina and India.
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and infrastructure for high-traffic web-based applications and complex backend systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their applications through the creation and execution of automated tests.
Main responsibilities:
- Design and implement test automation frameworks and infrastructure for high-traffic web applications and REST services.
- Automate API testing using Postman and migrate to Cypress in the future.
- Create, execute, and maintain SQL queries for testing purposes.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end (E2E) test automation using Cypress (JavaScript or Typescript).
- Utilize Jenkins pipelines to read logs and re-run pipelines as necessary.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and address issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in test automation tools and techniques.
- Demonstrate strong learning agility and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and environments.
Requirements:
- Upper-intermediate or Advanced English level (written/spoken)
- Proven ability to create and design test automation frameworks for web-based applications and backend systems.
- Experience with API testing automation using Postman.
- Experience automating end-to-end (E2E) tests using Cypress.
- Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines for log reading and pipeline re-running.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute SQL queries.
- Experience with US based organizations.
